Preparing Your Posts
The SocialToaster Content Digest will pull content that has been added to your library or content that is scheduled to go live in your library. You cannot schedule these posts to to be emailed to users. Let the content digest do that!
When creating a post make sure to unselect the "Send an email notification to all eligible users of your program." The selection "Publish with Content Digest" will appear for selection, check that off. The "Publish with Content Digest" setting is optional, you can push the content live immediately in the library. This selection would prevent the content from going live until the digest is sent out.
Follow the remaining steps for creating a post, the content will be available in the library once the digest is published.
Creating the Digest
Visit "Content Digest" in the dashboard, here:
Select the "Create a Digest" button, here:
Now on the "Content" step you'll choose which pieces of content you want to add to the digest. Select from the list below. You can reorder the items in the digest by dragging and dropping the content in the list below:
Next step filter the users, here you can choose to reach only the tagged users or all active users.
You will then need to configure the email notification, you'll add the subject line as well as the email body copy.
The final step will allow you to schedule the posts, you can send now or schedule the post to go live at a later date.
